Srinivas Balasubramanian, Chairman and CEOBefore taking over as CEO of Photon, Srinivas was a Senior Vice President at Webmethods Inc (NASDAQ: WEBM) reporting to the CEO. Prior to that, Srinivas was Founder, President and CEO of Infravio Inc, a Cupertino, CA based company, which was a leading provider of Web Services and SOA infrastructure software that was acquired by Webmethods for $38mn in cash in 2006. Srinivas served in various capacities at Infravio – initially as founding CEO responsible for raising the initial institutional Venture capital round in 2000. Thereafter, he served as Chief Strategist of the company between 2001 and January 2005 where he was responsible for closing a strategic financing round from NetIQ Corp (NASDAQ : NTIQ, later taken private) and for closing a large number of the early customers. In January 2005, Srinivas took over as CEO of Infravio. As CEO, he rebuilt the executive management team and drove the company to a thought and customer leadership position in the emerging Web Services and SOA market until its ultimate sale to Webmethods in September 2006, which he architected. Srinivas was earlier an equity and derivatives trader at JP Morgan and Credit Lyonnais Securities at Mumbai, India. He headed the trading desk for Credit Lyonnais, which was the largest institutional brokerage in the country and was ranked #1 in India by the prestigious Euromoney magazine for both the years he ran it. He was also one of the first certified derivatives traders in India. Srinivas has an MBA from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and is a graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. |

Mukund Balasubramanian, CTOMukund, a noted Technology Visionary served as Vice President, Product Development for WebMethods Inc (NASDAQ: WEBM) before joining Photon as the Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that Mukund was the Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Infravio Inc., a company he co-founded in 2000 based on his Stanford University research thesis while still a student! Mukund was instrumental in many activities of this leading SOA & Web Services Company right from Fund Raising to Product Development. As the CTO, Mukund participated in a variety of standards boards such as XML Schema, W3C Web Services Architecture and Open Source Web Services products such as Apache Axis and Synapse. Since 2003, Mukund also donned the hat of VP of Engineering leading the Engineering Organization and Professional Services practice. Before joining Stanford as a graduate student in the database department, Mukund was a Field Engineer for Schlumberger out of the Asia Pacific. Mukund is a Masters in Computer Science (M.S. Comp Sci - Databases) from Stanford University and a Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech Comp Sci) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai where he stood 18th in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). |

Marcus Wilhelm, COO - Global OperationsMarcus joined Photon with a wealth of experience both in procuring IT products and services for superlative returns! Prior to joining Photon, Marcus served as the Chief Information Officer for EF Education, a billion dollar educational and travel company, in charge of global IT strategy including Internet, infrastructure, support, application development and maintenance. His record of creating value for the various Businesses ranged from great to mind boggling (think 7 x reductions in infrastructure maintenance). Before becoming CIO he was working as the CTO of Englishtown, the largest online English school, and spent two years in Shanghai running the Technology Development Office across China and India. Englishtown blazed the trail in record time through the ups and downs of the dotcom bubble to become the world’s largest Online School and also the worlds second largest Microsoft based Web Application!!! Prior to joining EF, Marcus founded an IT consulting company in Stockholm specializing in database and application development. Marcus holds a master in computer science from Uppsala University, Sweden – one of the top centers of learning in all of Europe. Marcus is also serving on the advisory board in one of the premium business schools in India, S P Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai. |

S.R. Ram Charan, CFOPrior to taking over as CFO at Photon, Ram was the Finance Controller of Lason India Limited (Indian arm of the US $ 200mn BPO major Lason group headquartered in Detroit, USA). Ram was promoted to the role of Finance Controller of the India operations within 3 years of joining and was in-charge of the entire gamut of financial systems and reporting. In addition to this, he was in charge of all legal compliance and cost management initiatives. He was noted for providing a balanced steward-strategist support to the organization. As a member of the leadership team, was involved in steering Corporate Governance, Standardization of finance policies, procedures & controls, and monitoring organization performance. Before Lason, Ram was with SSI Technologies for a short period of time. Ram started his career with TVS Sundaram Clayton (part of the TVS group), where he joined as an Accounts trainee to become Manager Finance in 4 years. He was involved in setting up various financial and accounting systems for the company. Ram is a commerce graduate from the prestigious RKM Vivekananda College Chennai and passed out with distinction. He is a Qualified Chartered Accountant - All India rank holder in Inter and Final. |

Balaji Chakravarthi, VP - SalesBalaji has 15 years of IT Sales and Management experience. Balaji joined Photon in 2001 and is responsible for spearheading the New Business Operations division at Photon. Balaji has extensive experience in selling to new technologies to Small and Medium sized Enterprises (SMEs) worldwide and has successfully expanded Photon’s footprint globally to over 400 customers. Balaji is also responsible for all outbound calling businesses at Photon. Prior to joining Photon, Balaji worked in the product management team of Cofuture, a company that built Hospital Management Systems. Balaji was earlier with MCD Ecom Ltd as Branch Manager where he was responsible for selling and implementing EDI and Ecommerce solutions. Before that, he was with Aptech Ltd, where he sold ERP, BPR and ISO Consulting Services. Prior to this he was with Crompton Greaves, India as Business Development Head where he sold connectivity solutions such as fax-to-fax and mailing services. Balaji holds an MBA from ITM, Chennai and an Engineering Degree in Mechanical from Madras University. |
